This past weekend I think I baked the craziest cake I've ever made.

It stood 14 inches tall. Can't wait to make another one... so much fun.

This is fantastic. Was there an occasion? an inspiration?

Deb, will you make me this for my birthday? It seriously makes me feel like I'm in the most wonderful children's novel - on the post-wardrobe, down-the-hole, in-the-peach, off-at-hogwarts part of the novel of course, not the home with grumpy spinster aunt who makes gruel part.

Debi. I hope you don't mind - I featured your cake on my blog today: http://mlleparadis.blogspot.com.

THE CAKE IS AWESOME. You are my discovery of the week. I will be back. Loved your post about the V&A bathrooms too.

If you want to housesit (and make cakes) in S. Lake at Xmas we should talk.
